Welcome to the Hamilton Skating Club!
The Hamilton Skating Club (HSC) is a not-for-profit organization, sanctioned by Skate Canada, and has been developing skaters and champions since 1938.
Our skating and off-ice programs are designed and delivered by our highly experienced and certified professional coaching staff.
At HSC we strive to provide quality skating opportunities to help each skater develop their passion for skating and to achieve their individual goals, dreams and successes in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
Whether you are interested in CanSkate, StarSkate, training recreationally or at the competitive level, we welcome you to our club.

Welcome to CanSkate!
We’re thrilled to have you join Skate Canada’s flagship learn-to-skate program, designed for skaters of all ages and abilities. CanSkate is all about fun, participation, and the development of essential skating skills. Throughout the program, skaters will earn ribbons, badges, and other exciting incentives as they progress.
Whether you're new or returning, we’re excited to embark on another fun-filled and thrilling season with you!

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank you for choosing the Hamilton Skating Club. For over 85 years, HSC has been teaching people of all ages how to skate. The Hamilton Skating Club is committed to delivering the best skating programs to members of the City of Hamilton and surrounding communities. Our Learn to Skate, Junior Academy, StarSkate and Competitive programs are guided by Bryce Davison, Director of Skating and Krystyna Lazar, Director of Learn to Skate along with an amazing, experienced staff of professional coaches.
The Board of Directors, staff, professional coaches and volunteers strive to provide quality skating opportunities to help each skater develop their passion for skating and to achieve their individual goals, dreams and successes in a friendly, safe and fun environment.
